Brief

Create a temporary setting where an object can be approached from more than one side. The study imagines a compact brand installation with no named client, venue or fabrication commission. Its central question is whether one architectural gesture can organise arrival, display and conversation without separate scenic elements.

Approach

The concept uses a dark folded plane as both backdrop and threshold. An open centre keeps the object in view, while changes in height suggest a route around it. Pale edge light separates the structure from the surrounding room. The palette is deliberately restricted so surface, shadow and proportion carry the composition.

Design intent

The installation is intended to make the product legible before a visitor reaches the display. It also leaves room for a member of staff and for people who choose to observe without entering. These are design intentions to test through a scaled mockup and an accessible circulation review, not claims about a completed venue.
